# SEO Snippet Hunter

> Formats content to win featured snippets / position-zero and SERP features (paragraph, list, table, FAQ, PAA) by rewriting question-based content into snippet-eligible blocks with FAQPage/HowTo schema. Use when the user says "seo snippet hunter", "featured snippet", "position zero", "rich snippet", "PAA / People Also Ask", "answer box", "FAQ schema", "snippet optimization", or in FR "snippet vedette", "position zero", "optimiser pour Google snippet", "bloc de reponse", "schema FAQ". Use PROACTIVELY when rewriting question-based or how-to content for search visibility. Not for keyword research or full SEO audits (use the SEO planner / audit skills instead).

## Single-voice craft (do NOT parallelize)

Snippet hunting is a copywriting craft: one tight, authoritative answer voice. Do NOT fan out to parallel sub-agents or run multi-grader consensus — that fractures the answer's consistency and dilutes the 40-60 word precision that wins position zero. Write each snippet yourself, in one pass, then self-verify against the contract below.

Craft upgrades:

1. **Lead-with-the-answer structure.** First sentence answers the literal question and contains the target keyword. No throat-clearing ("In this article we will..."), no hedging. Every supporting line earns its place or gets cut.
2. **Match the SERP intent to the format.** "What/why is X" -> paragraph (40-60 words). "How to / steps" -> numbered list (5-8 items) + HowTo schema. "X vs Y / best/comparison" -> table. "PAA cluster" -> FAQ block + FAQPage schema. Pick exactly one primary format per question; do not stack.
3. **Worked example (paragraph snippet):**
   > **Question:** What is a featured snippet?
   > **Answer (47 words):** A featured snippet is a highlighted search result Google displays at the top of the page (position zero) to directly answer a query. It pulls a concise paragraph, list, or table from a ranking page, giving that page extra visibility above the standard organic results.

## Output contract + verify

For every question you process, deliver the **Snippet Package** below, then run the **Verify checklist**:

- [ ] Answer is 40-60 words (paragraph) OR 5-8 items (list) — count it, state the count.
- [ ] Target keyword appears in the first sentence / list header.
- [ ] The answer stands alone (makes sense lifted out of context, as Google extracts it).
- [ ] Exactly one primary format chosen, with a one-line reason tied to the query intent.
- [ ] Valid FAQPage or HowTo JSON-LD schema is included and matches the visible copy verbatim.
- [ ] No claim is asserted without a source the user provided or can verify (see Constraints).
