# Apache Kafka Schema Registry Validator

Validates Avro, Protobuf, and JSON Schema compatibility against Confluent Schema Registry using the REST API. Enforces backward/forward/full compatibility modes and detects breaking schema evolution changes.

## Installation

Use the upstream install or setup path that matches your environment:
- npm install kafkajs

Requirements and caveats from upstream:
- A modern Apache Kafka® client for Node.js
- KafkaJS is a modern [Apache Kafka](https://kafka.apache.org/) client for Node.js. It is compatible with Kafka 0.10+ and offers native support for 0.11 features.
