# GitUI Blazing Fast Terminal Git Interface

GitUI is a fast terminal-based user interface for Git written in Rust. It provides keyboard-driven staging, committing, branching, stashing, and log browsing with async Git operations that outperform other terminal Git clients on large repositories.

## Installation

Use the upstream install or setup path that matches your environment:
- brew install gitui
- conda install -c conda-forge gitui

Requirements and caveats from upstream:
- To run the complete test suite python is required (and it must be invocable as python)

Basic usage or getting-started notes:
- Minimum supported rust/cargo version: 1.88
