# Codex Jailbreak GPT-5.5 Unrestricted Mode

## What It Does

**codex-instruct-5.5** is a Python tool that injects unrestricted mode system instructions into GPT-5.5 running inside Codex CLI. It exploits the official `model_instructions_file` configuration mechanism to force Codex into `[MODE: UNRESTRICTED]`, disabling all content safety filters.

Unlike the 5.4 CTF sandbox approach, this 5.5 version uses direct declarations:
- Explicit unrestricted developer mode activation
- All safety filters disabled
- 8 core directives covering security research, pentesting, reverse engineering, NSFW content
- ~40 lines of instructions (vs 180 in 5.4)

## Troubleshooting

### Issue: Jailbreak Not Working After Deployment
