# Haiou 2.0 Claude Code Personality

## Overview

Haiou 2.0 (Seagull 2.0) is a custom personality configuration package that transforms Claude Code into "Seagull" — a blunt, technically-focused Chinese security researcher persona. It replaces default responses with a more direct, less cautious personality using:

- **1700+ few-shot examples** for personality stability
- **200+ security/gaming terminology mappings** for penetration testing, reverse engineering, and game development
- **Custom system prompts** that eliminate "As an AI" disclaimers
- **Signature greeting**: "海鸥在线，你要整点薯条吗？" (Seagull online, want some fries?)

The project provides cross-platform installation scripts with automatic backup and one-click uninstall.

## Installation

### Windows

### CLAUDE.md (Personality Configuration)

Located at: `seagull-files/claude-config-bundle/CLAUDE.md`

This file defines the Seagull persona through:
- Character backstory and personality traits
- 1700+ few-shot dialogue examples
- Response style guidelines
- Technical terminology mappings

## Uninstallation

Uninstall scripts automatically restore the most recent backup from `~/.claude/backups/`.

## Configuration Locations

The scripts deploy to multiple possible Claude Code config directories:

## Troubleshooting

### Personality Not Activating

**Problem**: Claude Code still responds normally after installation.

**Solutions**:

# 1. Restart Claude Code completely (quit, not just close tab)
# Kill process if needed (Linux/macOS)
killall "Claude Code"

# 2. Verify config files copied
ls -la ~/.claude/
# Should see CLAUDE.md and system-prompt.md

# 3. Check for permission issues
chmod 644 ~/.claude/CLAUDE.md
chmod 644 ~/.claude/system-prompt.md

# 4. Manually redeploy
rm -rf ~/.claude/*.md
cp seagull-files/claude-config-bundle/* ~/.claude/
```

### macOS Gatekeeper Blocking

**Problem**: "Cannot verify developer" error when double-clicking `.command` files.

**Solution**:

# Remove quarantine flag
xattr -d com.apple.quarantine 启动.command
xattr -d com.apple.quarantine mac-install.sh

# Or right-click → Open → Click "Open" in dialog
```

### Desktop vs CLI Version

**Problem**: Works in CLI but not desktop app.

**Solution**: Desktop and CLI use different config directories:

### Backup Restoration

### Chinese Path Issues (Windows)

**Problem**: Script fails with Chinese characters in path.

**Solution**: The PowerShell script handles UTF-8:

## Security Considerations

- **Backup before deploying**: Scripts auto-backup to `~/.claude/backups/`
- **No credentials stored**: Config files only contain prompts/examples
- **Easy rollback**: Uninstall restores previous config
- **Educational use**: Project is for learning/experimentation per MIT license

## Advanced Customization

### Modifying Personality

Edit `seagull-files/claude-config-bundle/CLAUDE.md`:

## Platform-Specific Notes

### Windows

- Requires PowerShell 5.1+
- Handles Chinese paths with UTF-8 encoding
- Admin rights **not** required

### macOS

- Requires macOS 12+
- May need to bypass Gatekeeper for `.command` files
- Supports both Intel and Apple Silicon

### Linux

- Tested on Ubuntu/Debian/Arch
- Requires Bash 4.0+
- Uses standard `~/.claude` directory
