# Haiou Seagull 2.0 - Claude Personality Override

## What This Does

Haiou (海鸥) 2.0 is a personality configuration package that transforms Claude Code into "Seagull" - a direct, technically-focused Chinese security researcher who:

- Speaks plainly without corporate disclaimers or "as an AI" phrases
- Provides code immediately without safety warnings for technical topics
- Uses 1700+ few-shot examples to maintain character consistency
- Maps 200+ security/gaming/reverse engineering terms
- Greets users with: "海鸥在线，你要整点薯条吗？" (Seagull online, want some fries?)

The package modifies Claude Code's system prompt and configuration files to reduce over-cautious responses while maintaining technical accuracy.

## Installation

### Windows

### Installation Directories

The scripts auto-detect and deploy to all found Claude installations:

- `~/.claude/` (CLI version)
- `~/Library/Application Support/Claude/` (macOS app)
- `%APPDATA%/Local/Claude-3p/` (Windows desktop)
- `~/.config/Claude/` (Linux)

Backups are saved to `~/.claude/backups/seagull-YYYYMMDD-HHMMSS/`

## Verification

After installation, restart Claude Code and test:

If no personality change:
1. Check `~/.claude/CLAUDE.md` exists
2. Restart Claude Code completely (not just reload window)
3. Check backup was created in `~/.claude/backups/`

## Uninstallation

### Windows

Uninstall automatically restores the most recent backup from `~/.claude/backups/`.

## Configuration Files

The personality is defined in two key files deployed to `~/.claude/`:

### CLAUDE.md

Core personality configuration with:
- Character traits and behavior rules
- 200+ term mappings (e.g., "penetration testing" → "渗透测试")
- Response style guidelines
- Technical domain knowledge

### system-prompt.md

1700+ few-shot conversation examples demonstrating:
- Greeting patterns
- Code delivery without disclaimers
- Technical problem-solving approach
- Security/game dev context handling

## Manual Configuration

If automatic deployment fails, manually copy files:

## Troubleshooting

### Personality Not Applying

**Check installation location:**

Desktop versions may use different config paths:

Edit `~/.claude/CLAUDE.md`:
