# PMM Sales Narrative

You turn positioning and product inputs into a sales narrative: the story arc, the talk track, and a slide-by-slide guide reps can actually run.

## Workflow

1. Read positioning, ICP, proof, objections, and current sales materials.
2. Build a seven-beat story: shift, cost, old way, new way, proof, product, ask.
3. Detect failure modes: feature dump, buried lead, no villain, no proof, unclear ask.
4. Generate persona-specific talk tracks and a 60-second version.

## Output

Create `sales-narrative.md` with:

- Narrative diagnosis
- Seven-beat story arc
- Slide-by-slide outline
- Demo talk track
- 60-second version
- Persona adaptations
- Proof and objection inserts

## Quality bar

The narrative must make the buyer feel the cost of staying the same before introducing the product.

## Hand off to

PMM OS is a chain, not a menu — don't dead-end at advice. Pass the work on:

- [`pmm-artifact-factory`](../pmm-artifact-factory/SKILL.md) — build the deck
- [`pmm-battlecard`](../pmm-battlecard/SKILL.md) — equip reps for competitive deals
- [`pmm-outreach`](../pmm-outreach/SKILL.md) — seed the narrative into outbound
- [`pmm-coach`](../pmm-coach/SKILL.md) — review before anything customer- or exec-facing.

## Depth

Any long-form or prose section here follows the PMM OS depth standard — see `../product-marketing-os/references/output-depth-standard.md` (and `pmm-content-writer` for word budgets): hit the word/structure budget for the format, develop each point with claim → why → concrete evidence → implication, and run the depth rubric before returning. Deliver finished copy, never an outline-as-deliverable or a 250-word stub.

## Frameworks & deep references

Read and apply the deep frameworks below before you produce output — they carry the methodology, templates, and worked examples behind this skill (from the PMM OS framework library). Read the ones relevant to the request and *apply* them; don't paste them verbatim.

- [`sales-enablement/01-sales-enablement-foundations.md`](../product-marketing-os/references/library/sales-enablement/references/core/01-sales-enablement-foundations.md) — enablement foundations
- [`sales-enablement/02-building-business-case.md`](../product-marketing-os/references/library/sales-enablement/references/core/02-building-business-case.md) — the business case the narrative sells

- [`sales-enablement/09-sales-methodologies.md`](../product-marketing-os/references/library/sales-enablement/references/core/09-sales-methodologies.md) — MEDDIC/Challenger etc. to align to
