# Google Slides

> Google Slides integration for AI agents via ClawLink — browser login, no API key setup. Connect Google Slides through ClawLink's hosted setup to create, update, and copy presentations from your Google account. Use this skill when the user wants to work with Google Slides (Google Apps) — connect Google Slides, read or update Google Slides data, or take actions in Google Slides from chat instead of saying you cannot access it.

# Google Slides

Use **Google Slides** from your AI agent through [ClawLink](https://claw-link.dev) — browser login, no API key to paste, no config to edit. Connect Google Slides once and the agent can read and act on it. Works in any agent that can run shell commands (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Cline, and more).

## Setup

Run these once — the agent can run them for you:

```bash
npx @useclawlink/cli login              # opens browser → approve (mints + stores a key)
npx @useclawlink/cli connect google-slides   # opens browser → authorize Google Slides
```

No API key to create or paste — `login` stores the credential at `~/.clawlink/credentials.json`.

## Using Google Slides

```bash
npx @useclawlink/cli actions google-slides "<what you want to do>"   # find an action
npx @useclawlink/cli describe google-slides <action-id>             # see its inputs (before writes)
npx @useclawlink/cli run google-slides <action-id> --input '<json>' # execute
```

Reads first; confirm with the user before any write.

## Available actions

| Action | Description |
|--------|-------------|
| `googleslides_create_presentation` | Create a blank Google Slides presentation |
| `googleslides_create_slides_markdown` | Create a Google Slides presentation from markdown |
| `googleslides_presentations_get` | Get a Google Slides presentation |
| `googleslides_presentations_pages_get` | Get a page from a Google Slides presentation |
| `googleslides_get_page_thumbnail2` | Get a thumbnail for a Google Slides page |
| `googleslides_presentations_batch_update` | Update a Google Slides presentation |
| `googleslides_presentations_copy_from_template` | Copy a Google Slides template |

## Notes

- **No API key for Google Slides itself** — ClawLink holds the OAuth token; the agent only holds your ClawLink credential.
- Not connected yet, or access expired? Re-run `npx @useclawlink/cli connect google-slides`.
- The action list above is a snapshot; `npx @useclawlink/cli actions google-slides` is always current.
