# 9.3.6 Set SSH IgnoreRhosts to Yes (Scored)

## Description

The `IgnoreRhosts` parameter specifies that `.rhosts` and `.shosts` files will not be used in `RhostsRSAAuthentication` or `HostbasedAuthentication`.

## Rationale
