# Omarchy Omgato

# Omgato

Four command line tools. Each prints plain text by default and JSON with `--json`
where a machine-readable answer helps.

## Key Lights

An exact name, IP or MAC wins over a substring match, so `Key` addresses the
light called `Key` even when `Key Light` also exists.

POSITION is `left`, `center` or `right`; GESTURE is `tap`, `long` or `double`.
An action is `exec:<command>`, `key:<KEY_NAME>`, `page:<name>` or `noop`.

## Notes

- The Cam Link is a single-open V4L2 device: the overlay and any recorder that
  wants the camera cannot both hold it.
- Light names come from the devices; display names, order and undo history are
  kept by `omgato-panel` and never written to the lights.
- Every tool exits non-zero on failure and prints the reason on stderr.
