# synapse-plugin-helper:update-config Command Workflow

# Sync Plugin Config

Sync discovered actions and type metadata from code into `config.yaml` (or `synapse.yaml`).

Updates include:
- action entrypoints
- `input_type` / `output_type`
- `hyperparameters.train_ui_schemas` (for train/tune actions)

## Workflow

### Step 1: Locate Config

```bash
CONFIG_FILE=config.yaml
if [ -f synapse.yaml ]; then CONFIG_FILE=synapse.yaml; fi
if [ ! -f "$CONFIG_FILE" ]; then echo "CONFIG_NOT_FOUND=true"; fi
```

If no config found:
```
config.yaml 또는 synapse.yaml을 찾을 수 없습니다.

### Step 2: Run Sync

```bash
synapse plugin update-config --path [plugin-path]
```

Or specify the config file explicitly:

```bash
synapse plugin update-config --config [config-file]
```

### Step 3: Review Changes

Example output:
```

If no changes:

## Error Handling

**Config file not found**

No config.yaml or synapse.yaml found in <path>.
```

**Import errors**

Action import failed. Check entrypoint paths and ensure __init__.py files exist.
