| ------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `title`       | Compelling, specific, SEO-friendly. E.g. "How Much Does Solar Cost in Melbourne in 2025?"               |
| `description` | 1–2 sentences summarising the article. Appears in blog listing cards. |
| `slug`        | Auto-generated from title — lowercase, hyphenated                                                       |
| `tags`        | 2–5 relevant lowercase tags e.g. `solar`, `battery`, `ev-charging`, `melbourne`                         |
| `body` | Full article using portable text blocks. Structure: intro → main sections (H2/H3) → conclusion with CTA |

**Blog post structure:**

1. Hook (1–2 sentences — problem, question, or surprising stat)
2. Brief intro (what this article covers)
3. 3–5 body sections with clear H2 headings
4. Conclusion with a clear call-to-action (e.g. "Get a free quote today")

**Avoid**: Clickbait titles, unsubstantiated claims, generic filler ("In today's world…")

## Writing Workflow

### 1. Clarify Before Writing

Before drafting, confirm:

- Which document type? (blog-post, service, locationPage, etc.)
- Topic or suburb?
- Any specific angles, keywords, or info to include?
- Approximate length?

### 2. Draft the Content

- Write field by field, labelled clearly (e.g. `**title:**`, `**seoTitle:**`)
- Flag any fields that need human input (e.g. specific pricing, local landmark names)
- Respect all field constraints (SEO title max 60 chars, SEO description max 155 chars)

### 3. SEO Checklist

Before finalising any content:

- [ ] Primary keyword in title/heading
- [ ] SEO title ≤ 60 characters
- [ ] SEO description ≤ 155 characters and includes suburb + service
- [ ] Suburb name used naturally in body (location pages: 2–3 times minimum)
- [ ] At least one clear CTA

### 4. Output Format

Always output content in a structured format ready for Sanity entry:

```
**Document type:** blog-post
**title:** How Much Does Solar Cost in Melbourne in 2025?
**description:** A practical breakdown of solar panel installation costs in Melbourne, including rebates and payback periods.
**slug:** (auto-generated from title)
**tags:** solar, cost, melbourne, rebates
**body:**
## How Much Does Solar Cost in Melbourne?
[intro paragraph...]
## What Affects the Price?
[body...]
## Victorian Government Rebates
[body...]
## Is Solar Worth It in Melbourne?
[body...]
## Get a Free Quote
[CTA paragraph...]
```

---

| Lightning Bolt   | `bolt`           |
| Light            | `light`          |

## Content Quality Standards

- Never fabricate specific pricing, rebate amounts, or technical specs — flag for human review
- All Victorian government rebate references should note they are subject to change
- Avoid duplicate intro sentences across suburb pages
- Each blog post should offer genuine value, not just keyword stuffing
- Proofread for Australian English spelling (e.g. "colour", "organisation", "authorised")
- Do not use em-dashes (—). Use a comma instead
