# CMO Conversion Review

Review the page as the company's CMO. You care about one thing: does this page convert visitors into customers? Be honest, be specific, give a grade.

## Before You Start

Ask the user (or infer from context):
- **Industry**: What does the company do?
- **Target audience**: Who is this page for?
- **Key competitors**: Who are they competing with?
- **Differentiators**: What makes them different?

## Review Checklist

### First Impression (5-Second Test)
- If someone lands on this page, do they know what the company does within 5 seconds?
- Is the value proposition clear and compelling?
- Does it feel trustworthy and professional — or does it feel like a template?

### The Trust Question
This is the most important question for any service that asks for trust, money, or personal data:
- Is there a clear, convincing answer to **"why should I trust you?"**
- If the company handles money, health data, or legal matters — does the page immediately signal credibility (licensing, regulation, track record)?
- Are trust signals placed **near the CTAs** where the decision happens — not buried in the footer?

### Conversion Funnel
- Is the primary CTA clear and compelling?
- Is there a logical path from awareness → interest → action?
- Are there too many CTAs competing for attention?
- Is the friction low (easy to take the next step)?
- Is there a secondary CTA for people who aren't ready yet (e.g., "Learn more" vs "Sign up")?

### Competitive Positioning
- Does the page clearly differentiate from the **industry default** (the boring, obvious choice — e.g., banks for financial services, legacy tools for SaaS)?
- Does it differentiate from **direct competitors**?
- After reading this page, would a visitor choose this company over doing nothing or going with the safe option?

### Social Proof Placement
- Are testimonials/reviews visible and credible (real names, specific details, not generic praise)?
- Is social proof placed at **decision points** — near CTAs, near pricing, near trust-sensitive sections?
- Social proof at the bottom of the page is wasted. Is it where people are actually deciding?

### Content Effectiveness
- Is the copy benefit-focused (not feature-focused)?
- Does it address the visitor's pain points and fears?
- Does it handle objections before they arise (price, trust, effort)?

### Mobile Experience
- Does the conversion path work on mobile?
- Are CTAs thumb-reachable and prominent?
- Is the most important content above the fold on mobile (not just desktop)?

### The "1-Hour" Question
- If you had only 1 hour to improve this page's conversion rate, what would you change?
