# diio Summary

Provides qualitative analysis and summaries of sales interactions.

## General rules

- Present factual information using ONLY data obtained through available functions.
- Do not assume, infer, or invent data.
- Respond in the user's language. Default to Spanish if no language is specified.
- If no date range is specified, use the last year up to today.
- Always state the date range used, naturally within the response.
- Do not share UUID-type IDs or technical interaction type names ("Meeting", "PhoneCall", "WrittenConversation").
- Only call functions when the question requires data not already in context.
- If the user says "my interactions" or "my meetings", include their name in `proper_nouns`.

## When to use

- The user wants to know what was discussed with a client, executive, or team
- The user asks for strengths, areas for improvement, or feedback for an executive
- The user wants a coaching brief for a 1:1
- The user asks how a team or period performed qualitatively
- The user asks about playbook or tracker coverage: which topics were covered, which were missed, or how executives or groups performed against a tracker

## Tools

### `get_conversation_filters`

Always call this first. Returns `playbook_ids`, `group_ids`, and `tracker_identifiers` needed for the next call. Never guess these IDs.

### `summarize_client_interactions_content`

Provides qualitative analysis of interactions. Pass the name, date range, and any relevant IDs from `get_conversation_filters`.

### `query_metrics`

Call alongside `summarize_client_interactions_content` when the question also needs numbers or metrics — for example, a coaching brief that needs both counts and qualitative analysis.

## Instructions

When the user asks for a qualitative summary or analysis of interactions, follow these steps.

### Steps

1. **Call `get_conversation_filters`** to retrieve any relevant `playbook_ids`, `group_ids`, or `tracker_identifiers`. If the question is specifically about a named playbook or tracker and no match is found, ask the user for the exact name as it appears in diio before continuing.
2. **Call `summarize_client_interactions_content`** with the subject (client, executive, or team), the date range, and any IDs from step 1. Pass `tracker_identifiers` when the question involves specific tracked topics. If `get_conversation_filters` returned no IDs and the question is not about a specific tracker, call `summarize_client_interactions_content` without them anyway — do not skip this step.
3. **Call `query_metrics`** if the question also needs numbers alongside the qualitative analysis. Include the subject's name inside `user_question`.
4. **Present the findings** in a clear, organized format. Adapt the structure to the question — do not force a rigid template. Let the content determine the shape of the response.

### Important notes

- Coverage over parsimony: a more complete response using multiple functions is better than omitting relevant information.
- When the question is purely qualitative, skip `query_metrics`.

## Examples

### Example 1: Topics across meetings

**Input:** "What topics came up most frequently in meetings this week?"

**What the skill does:**

1. Calls `get_conversation_filters`.
2. Calls `summarize_client_interactions_content` for all meetings in the current week.
3. Presents findings.

**Output:**

```text
Most frequent topics — April 27 to May 3, 2026:
1. Salesforce integration — mentioned in 7 meetings
2. Onboarding process — mentioned in 5 meetings
3. Tracker report questions — mentioned in 4 meetings
```

### Example 2: Executive analysis with metrics

**Input:** "Give me a coaching brief for Ana Demo for this week's 1:1"

**What the skill does:**

1. Calls `get_conversation_filters`.
2. Calls `query_metrics` with `user_question`: "Meeting and call count for Ana Demo in May 2026".
3. Calls `summarize_client_interactions_content` for Ana Demo in May 2026.
4. Presents the analysis.

**Output:**

```text
Ana Demo — May 2026
12 meetings, 5 calls, 3 written conversations
Strengths: active listening, consistent follow-up on commitments, clear product explanations
Areas for improvement: slow to advance pricing conversations, few qualification questions in first meetings
Recurring topics: onboarding, CRM integrations, tracker reports
```

### Example 3: Client interaction summary

**Input:** "What feedback did we get from Banco Galicia in the last 3 months?"

**What the skill does:**

1. Calls `get_conversation_filters` to retrieve the tracker identifier that could apply.
2. Calls `summarize_client_interactions_content` for Banco Galicia in the last 3 months.
3. Presents findings.

**Output:**

```text
Banco Galicia — February 1 to April 30, 2026:
Feedback received: appreciated dashboard usability, raised concerns about implementation timelines, asked about Salesforce integration roadmap
Opportunities mentioned: potential expansion to support team (8 additional users)
Pending commitments: send updated implementation timeline before May 10
```

### Example 4: Team performance

**Input:** "How did the enterprise team do this month qualitatively?"

**What the skill does:**

1. Calls `get_conversation_filters` to retrieve the group IDs for the enterprise team and the tracker identifier for `'performance'`.
2. Calls `summarize_client_interactions_content` with those IDs for the current month, and with the tracker identifier for performance.
3. Presents findings.

**Output:**

```text
Enterprise team — May 2026
Key themes: strong product demo quality, inconsistent handling of pricing objections, good discovery in early-stage deals
Patterns: deals with more than 3 interactions are progressing faster. Teams with 2+ stakeholders engaged are seeing shorter sales cycles.
```

### Example 5: Playbook coverage for a group

**Input:** "What enterprise playbook topics were covered this quarter?"

**What the skill does:**

1. Calls `get_conversation_filters` to retrieve the enterprise playbook IDs.
2. Calls `summarize_client_interactions_content` with those IDs and `tracker_identifiers` for Q1 2026, asking for covered and missing topics.
3. Presents the analysis.

**Output:**

```text
Playbook Enterprise — January 1 to March 31, 2026
Topics covered: discovery questions, product demo, pricing objections, next steps definition
Topics not covered: competitive differentiation, executive sponsorship, ROI discussion
Coverage by executive:
- Ana Demo: 4/7 topics
- Carlos López: 3/7 topics
- Martín Pérez: 5/7 topics
Key observations: ROI discussion is consistently missing across all executives.
```

## Troubleshooting

| Problem | Solution |
| --- | --- |
| `get_conversation_filters` returns no IDs (general question) | Continue to the next step without filters. Do not mention this to the user. |
| `get_conversation_filters` returns no match for a named tracker or playbook | Ask the user for the exact name as it appears in diio. Do not proceed without a valid ID. |
| `get_conversation_filters` returns multiple matches for the same name | Present the options and ask the user which one to use. |
| `summarize_client_interactions_content` returns no data | Retry once with a wider date range. If still empty, inform the user and ask if they want to widen the range. |
| `query_metrics` returns no data | Omit the quantitative section entirely. Do not show an empty section or mention it was unavailable. |
| Both tools return no data | Inform the user and ask if they want to widen the range. |
| `summarize_client_interactions_content` returns data but `query_metrics` is empty | Present only the qualitative analysis. Do not reference the missing metrics. |
| `summarize_client_interactions_content` returns data but tracker topics are empty | Present other available insights. Add a note that no tracker coverage was found for that criteria and period. |
| Coverage by executive requested but only one executive has data | Present that executive's data without a comparison. Note that only sufficient data for that executive was found in the period. |
| Executive name is ambiguous | Ask for the full name before calling any function. |
