# Onboarding Copy

## Welcome Screen
- Product name + one-sentence value prop.
- "Welcome" is wasted space. Use it for value.
- Skip illustration if it doesn't teach anything.

## Setup Steps
- Step title: action verb. "Connect your calendar."
- Description: one sentence explaining why. "So we can find times that work for your team."
- "Skip" always available for optional steps.

## Empty States as Onboarding
- First project: "Create your first project to get started."
- First teammate: "Invite your team to collaborate."
- Make the empty state do the teaching.

## Progress Communication
- "Step 2 of 4" — concrete progress.
- "Almost there!" — only after 75% completion.
- Celebrate finish: "You're all set. Here's your dashboard."

## Tone
- Patient but not patronizing.
- Brief but not cryptic.
- Encouraging but not gushing.
