# Digital Product Listing Engine

## Purpose

Turn a raw digital product idea, file, or product brief into a complete listing package that is specific, buyer-focused, searchable, and ready to paste into a marketplace.

The skill is designed for digital-product sellers. It does not create the actual PDF, Canva template, SVG, mockup image, or other product file. It creates the commercial packaging around the product.

## When to Use

Use this skill when the user wants to:

- Create a new digital-product marketplace listing.
- Rewrite or improve a weak listing.
- Generate SEO titles, keywords, tags, or descriptions.
- Turn a PDF, planner, printable, template, journal, prompt bundle, SVG, or design asset into a sellable listing.
- Adapt one product to multiple marketplaces.
- Create a launch package including listing copy, mockup direction, FAQs, and promotional copy.
- Audit a listing for search relevance, clarity, buyer intent, and conversion weaknesses.
- Decide how to position, bundle, or price a digital product.

Do not use this skill for physical-product listings unless the user explicitly asks for a digital-product version.

## Core Principles

1. Sell the outcome, not the file.
2. Identify the buyer before writing the listing.
3. Use one primary search intent and supporting keyword clusters.
4. Never keyword-stuff or repeat the same phrase unnecessarily.
5. Never invent product contents, formats, page counts, features, licenses, compatibility, or marketplace rules.
6. Separate facts supplied by the seller from reasonable recommendations.
7. If current marketplace limits or policies are unknown, do not fabricate them. State that the seller should verify the current platform rule.
8. Make the first part of the listing immediately understandable: what it is, who it is for, and why the buyer wants it.
9. Prefer specific positioning over generic claims such as "amazing," "ultimate," or "best."
10. If information is missing, ask only for information that materially changes the listing. Otherwise make conservative assumptions and label them.

## Input Extraction

Before writing, extract:

- Product name
- Product type
- Target buyer
- Problem or job-to-be-done
- Main outcome
- Contents
- Number of pages/items, only if supplied
- File formats, only if supplied
- Size/dimensions, only if supplied
- Editable or non-editable status
- Software/platform compatibility, only if supplied
- License/usage terms, only if supplied
- Delivery method
- Primary marketplace
- Secondary marketplaces
- Visual style
- Differentiator
- Existing keywords
- Existing listing, if supplied
- Price or desired price range

If some fields are missing, continue with the available information and clearly mark assumptions.

## Workflow

### Step 1 — Define the Buyer

Create:

- Primary buyer
- Secondary buyer, if useful
- Buyer situation
- Main pain point
- Desired outcome
- Purchase trigger
- Main objection

Use this to control the rest of the listing.

### Step 2 — Position the Product

Create a one-sentence positioning statement:

"For [buyer] who needs [job/problem], this [product] provides [specific outcome] through [key mechanism/features]."

Then identify:

- Primary product category
- Primary search intent
- Primary keyword concept
- 3–8 supporting keyword concepts
- Differentiator
- Strongest benefit

Do not claim that a keyword has high search volume unless the user supplies evidence or a current research tool is available.

### Step 3 — Build the Listing Title

Create 3 title options:

- Option A: search-first
- Option B: benefit-first
- Option C: balanced

Each title must be specific and natural.

Respect known platform limits only when the user provides them or current verified platform information is available. Otherwise label the titles as draft options and state that the seller should check the marketplace's current character limit.

Avoid:

- Keyword stuffing
- Repeated words
- Empty adjectives
- Unsupported claims
- Trademarked brand terms unless legitimately relevant and permitted

### Step 4 — Create the Description

Use this structure:

1. Hook
2. Who it is for
3. What problem it solves
4. What is included
5. Key benefits
6. How the buyer can use it
7. File/format information
8. Important limitations or compatibility notes
9. Delivery information
10. FAQ
11. Clear call to action

Lead with buyer value, not a seller story.

Never invent the number of pages, files, templates, prompts, colors, formats, or editable features.

### Step 5 — Keyword and Tag Architecture

Create:

- Primary keyword
- Secondary keywords
- Long-tail keyword ideas
- Buyer-intent phrases
- Problem-based phrases
- Feature-based phrases
- Audience-based phrases

Then produce platform-specific tags where applicable.

For platforms with hard tag limits, verify the current rule if tools are available. If not, use the user's supplied rule or clearly state that the seller must verify the current limit.

Do not repeat a keyword simply to fill space.

### Step 6 — Marketplace Adaptation

If a marketplace is specified, adapt the output to that marketplace.

#### Creative Fabrica

Prioritize:

- Clear product type
- Strong searchable title
- Buyer-focused description
- What's included
- Features
- File formats
- Size information
- Compatible software when known
- Relevant tags
- Commercial-use/licensing information only when supplied

If the seller supplies a Creative Fabrica title limit, enforce it exactly.

#### Etsy

Prioritize:

- Search-intent title
- Relevant tags
- Buyer-focused opening
- Digital-download clarity
- Strong benefits
- FAQ
- Image/mockup plan
- Conversion-focused structure

Do not claim a specific current Etsy SEO rule unless verified.

#### Payhip / Gumroad

Prioritize:

- Product promise
- Deliverables
- Buyer outcome
- What's included
- Usage instructions
- FAQ
- Strong CTA
- Cross-sell or bundle opportunity

#### PromptBase

For prompt or agent-skill products, prioritize:

- Exact capability
- Input/output behavior
- Example use cases
- Supported workflow
- Buyer outcome
- Clear limitations
- Example inputs and outputs
- No exaggerated performance claims

#### Unknown Marketplace

Ask for the marketplace only if its rules materially affect the requested output. Otherwise create a marketplace-neutral listing and identify what needs platform-specific adjustment.

### Step 7 — Pricing Recommendation

Give:

- Recommended launch price
- Normal price
- Optional bundle price
- Reasoning based on scope, differentiation, and buyer value

Do not pretend to know live market pricing without current evidence.

If the user gives a target price, evaluate it honestly rather than automatically agreeing.

### Step 8 — Mockup and Image Brief

Create a visual listing plan with:

1. Hero image
2. Product overview
3. What's included
4. Feature/benefit image
5. Inside-page or product preview
6. Size/formats image
7. Use-case image
8. Bonus/bundle image, if applicable

For each image provide:

- Headline
- Supporting text
- What should be visible
- Composition direction
- Buyer message

Do not imply the skill itself creates images.

### Step 9 — Promotional Package

Create, when requested or useful:

- 3 Pinterest titles
- 3 Pinterest descriptions
- 3 short social captions
- 5 promotional hooks
- 3 CTA options

Keep promotional copy consistent with the listing's actual claims.

### Step 10 — Final Quality Check

Before delivering the package, verify:

- [ ] Product type is clear.
- [ ] Target buyer is clear.
- [ ] Main outcome is clear.
- [ ] Title is readable.
- [ ] Keywords are relevant.
- [ ] No keyword stuffing.
- [ ] No unsupported claims.
- [ ] No invented product details.
- [ ] Included items match supplied information.
- [ ] File formats are only stated when known.
- [ ] Compatibility is only stated when known.
- [ ] Licensing claims are only stated when known.
- [ ] Marketplace-specific constraints are not fabricated.
- [ ] Description focuses on buyer value.
- [ ] CTA is present.
- [ ] Pricing is presented as a recommendation, not a fact.
- [ ] Mockup concepts accurately represent the product.

## Default Output Format

When the user asks for a complete listing, return:

## Audit Mode

When the user supplies an existing listing, do not immediately rewrite it.

First score it from 0–10 on:

- Search relevance
- Title clarity
- Buyer targeting
- Benefit clarity
- Description quality
- Keyword coverage
- Differentiation
- Trust/clarity
- Conversion potential
- Marketplace compliance confidence

Then provide:

1. Biggest weaknesses
2. What to keep
3. What to remove
4. What to rewrite
5. Improved listing
6. Priority actions

## Multi-Marketplace Mode

When the user asks to adapt one product to several marketplaces:

1. Create one canonical product brief.
2. Preserve factual product information across every version.
3. Change only positioning, structure, terminology, keywords, and marketplace-specific fields.
4. Clearly label each marketplace version.
5. Do not copy one platform's limits or rules into another platform.

## Missing Information Rule

If essential information is missing, ask up to 5 concise questions.

Essential means information that would change the factual accuracy of the listing, such as:

- What the product actually contains
- Target buyer
- Marketplace
- File format
- Whether it is editable
- Page/item count when the listing depends on it

If the missing information is not essential, make a conservative assumption and label it.

## Safety and Accuracy

Never:

- Invent reviews, sales, rankings, search volume, or customer results.
- Claim "guaranteed sales" or "guaranteed ranking."
- Fabricate marketplace policies.
- Add copyrighted/trademarked terms solely to attract traffic.
- Misrepresent a digital product as editable, commercial-use, AI-generated, or compatible with software unless the user confirms it.
- Promise that a listing will rank.

The skill's goal is a strong, accurate, marketplace-ready listing—not deceptive optimization.
