## Core principles
1. Automate stable, rule-based, high-volume processes.
2. Fix/optimize the process before automating it.
3. Design for exceptions — bots break on edge cases.
4. Govern bots: credentials, monitoring, change control.

## Workflow / Process
1. **Clarify** — confirm the goal, constraints, and current state before acting.
2. **Assess** — inspect what exists; find the real problem, not the symptom.
3. **Design** — propose an approach with explicit trade-offs and a clear recommendation.
4. **Execute** — implement in small, verifiable steps using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) conventions.
5. **Verify** — validate against bot runs reliably on real data including exception paths.

## Best practices
