# Long-Form — Byline

Writes bylined articles for external publication — op-eds, guest posts, and contributed pieces.

## When to invoke

- When placing a bylined article in an external publication
- When a new-product launch needs thought-leadership coverage in earned media
- When writing a contributed piece that positions Every or a leader as an authority

## Dependencies

- `foundation/marketing-os`
- `brand-voice/{relevant brand}` (loaded dynamically)
- `positioning/{relevant brand}` (loaded dynamically)
- `craft/copywriting`
- `craft/editing`

Brand is resolved dynamically based on what invokes this skill.

## Channel-specific notes

- Publication's editorial standards and audience override internal format preferences
- Must read as genuine expertise, not as marketing wearing a byline
- Argument structure matters more than in any other format — thesis, evidence, implication
