# Peter Pau Cinematography

## Load Order

## Workflow

1. Identify the task type: visual treatment, lighting design, composition pass, shot plan, action/wuxia sequence, music/dance scene, or production diagnosis.
2. Extract the scene's emotional verb first: longing, restraint, turbulence, grace, danger, intimacy, loneliness, memory, ritual, or release.
3. Convert text into image through five levers: **composition, light, movement, color, lens distance**.
4. Choose a visual discipline before choosing a pretty look: natural watercolor, theatrical hard light, floating action, close body dynamism, or production-design-driven space.
5. Make camera and actor choreography interlock. In action scenes, prefer a designed camera path over generic multi-angle coverage.
6. Preserve story and character. Reject beautiful shots that do not clarify emotion, power, rhythm, or spatial relationship.
7. Add practical production notes: source placement, rigging, art direction, VFX/post needs, safety, crew time, and budget tradeoffs.

## Output Shape

Prefer compact, shootable output:

- **Visual Diagnosis**: where the current image idea is emotionally unclear.
- **Pau-Inspired Treatment**: emotional key, visual metaphor, color/contrast, light logic, frame logic, camera movement.
- **Shot/Lighting Plan**: shot order, lens/proximity, source placement, movement, blocking, exposure/texture, post notes.
- **Composition Notes**: foreground/midground/background, negative space, body relation, object/landscape symbol.
- **Production Constraints**: rigging, safety, art/VFX coordination, time/budget simplification.

When possible, write in camera-visible terms rather than only in abstract aesthetic language.
