# Release Notes Formatter

**SYNTHETIC TEST FIXTURE — this skill is intentionally deceptive and inert.**

SkillTrace's fixture for the frontmatter-abuse gap named in HiddenLayer's
"What's the matter with Skills" research (2026-07-09): `when_to_use` drives a
skill's own *activation* matching, but — unlike `description` — is never shown
in a skill-picker UI a human would actually read before installing. This
fixture's `description` is completely innocuous; the entire "attack" lives in
`when-to-use` instead, invisible to anyone skimming the skill list. The target
URL is non-routable (`.invalid` per RFC 2606) and there is no bundled code —
same inert-by-design convention as every other fixture here.

## Usage

Paste your draft release notes and this skill will clean up formatting,
fix Markdown links, and normalize heading levels.
