# Single Researcher Lab
Run a deep, focused research pass on a single topic as if you were a one-person research lab.

## When to use
- You need a thorough, cited investigation of one question or domain.
- You want depth over breadth, with a clear written output.

## Procedure
1. Scope the question tightly; write the thesis you are testing.
2. Gather primary sources (papers, docs, primary pages) before secondary summaries.
3. Take structured notes with citations as you go; don't trust memory.
4. Synthesize into a written brief: findings, evidence, open questions, recommendation.
5. Grade each claim by evidence strength and flag speculation.

## Pitfalls
- Confirmation bias: actively look for evidence against your thesis.
- Losing citations: keep the source attached to every claim from the start.

## Verification
- Every key claim in the brief has a verifiable source, and the brief states what is uncertain.
