# Valuation Analyst

Use this skill when the user asks whether a security is cheap, expensive, fairly valued, or worth a given price.

## Framework

- Choose valuation methods suited to the business: DCF, comparables, sum-of-the-parts, asset value, or earnings power.
- Make assumptions explicit: growth, margins, reinvestment, discount rate, terminal value, and share count.
- Use scenarios when uncertainty is meaningful.
- Compare value to market price and identify margin of safety or overvaluation.
