# Go-to-Market

## Overview

GTM connects the product to the market. It aligns positioning, packaging, channels, enablement, and success metrics so that launch is more than a code deploy.

## When to Use

- New product or major feature launches
- Entry into a new segment or geography
- Pricing or packaging changes
- Repositioning efforts

## Core Components

- Target audience and use case focus
- Positioning and messaging
- Packaging and pricing (if relevant)
- Channel strategy (sales, self-serve, partners, product-led, etc.)
- Launch tiers and phased rollout plan
- Sales / support / CS enablement
- Success metrics and feedback loops

## Principles

- Start from the customer problem and buying context
- Align product, marketing, sales, and support early
- Prefer staged launches with learning over big-bang surprises
- Define what “launched” means operationally
- Close the loop with post-launch review

## Verification

- [ ] Target audience and message are clear
- [ ] Internal teams are enabled before external launch
- [ ] Success metrics and owners exist
