# Setup Work Skills

Install `do-work`, `do-seo-work`, `tdd`, `sdd`, and `drain-tickets` into the current repository's `.agents/skills/`. The installer uses bundled executor templates and copies the latest `tdd`, `sdd`, and `drain-tickets` from `kenlck/skills`. It also makes the copied `sdd` self-contained and exposes all five skills to Claude through project-local symlinks.

## 1. Inspect

Resolve `scripts/install.sh` relative to this `SKILL.md` and keep its absolute path as `installer`. Resolve the target with `git rev-parse --show-toplevel`, then preview the exact changes:

Read every `ADD`, `CONFLICT`, `OK`, and `WARN` line. A warning about `docs/agents/issue-tracker.md` means the SEO executor still needs `/setup-matt-pocock-skills` before use.

**Complete when:** the repository root, upstream commit, five destination states, symlink states, and configuration warnings are known.

## 2. Resolve conflicts

Proceed immediately when the preview contains only `ADD`, `OK`, and `WARN`.

When the preview contains `CONFLICT`, show the affected paths and obtain the user's approval to replace them. Preserve conflicting paths unless approval is explicit.

**Complete when:** every conflicting destination is either approved for replacement or the run has stopped without changing the repository.

## 3. Install

Run the installer without `--check`. Add `--force` only after replacement approval:

The installer stages the complete suite and checks every destination before writing, so an unapproved conflict leaves the repository untouched.

**Complete when:** all five skill directories match the staged suite and `.claude/skills/` points to the project-level copies.

## 4. Verify

Run the preview again and inspect `git status --short`:

Report the installed upstream commit, created or replaced paths, and any configuration warning. Direct the user to `/setup-matt-pocock-skills` when issue-tracker configuration is absent.

**Complete when:** every destination reports `OK`, every symlink resolves to its `.agents/skills/` directory, and all remaining setup work is explicit.
