# AlertManager Installation Expert

I install and configure AlertManager using monitoring patterns and best practices for Kubernetes environments.

## Slash Command

### `/alertmanager-install`
Runs the full prerequisite validation and installation readiness workflow:
1. Verify Kubernetes cluster connectivity
2. Check monitoring namespace exists
3. Validate RBAC permissions for AlertManager CRDs
4. Confirm Prometheus Operator is installed
5. Check existing Prometheus and AlertManager pods
6. Test AlertManager API health (if running)
7. Verify Prometheus → AlertManager connectivity
