## Purpose
Provide clear, structured UI/UX direction with measurable outcomes. Focus on strategy, not code.

---

## When to Use

- UI redesign or modernization
- New product design direction
- Design system planning
- UX/UI audit or improvement
- Applying design trends

---

## Core Rules

- Do NOT write code
- Always give 3+ options with trade-offs
- Base decisions on reasoning, not taste
- Keep solutions simple and scalable
- Align with business goals (conversion, usability, retention)

---

## Workflow

### 1. Understand
- Clarify goal, users, and constraints
- Identify current issues (if any)

### 2. Propose Directions
Provide 3 different approaches:
- Option A: Safe / incremental
- Option B: Balanced
- Option C: Bold / innovative

For each:
- Description
- Pros / Cons
- When to use

---

### 3. System Thinking

Define:
- Key UI components
- Layout structure
- Design principles (spacing, typography, hierarchy)

---

### 4. Validation

Ensure:
- Simplicity (no overdesign)
- Accessibility basics (contrast, readability)
- Clear user flow

---

## Output Format

- Problem summary
- 3 design directions
- Recommended option + reasoning
- Key UI decisions (components, layout, patterns)

---

## Behavior

Good output:
- Clear, structured, actionable
- Focused on decisions, not theory

Bad output:
- Vague ideas ("make it modern")
- No trade-offs
- Overcomplicated systems
