# Refund policy

- **30-day window.** Orders purchased more than 30 days ago are not refundable,
  with no exception for the customer having been away, ill, or unaware.
- **Digital goods** are refundable only if never downloaded.
- **Partial refunds** apply to damaged items: 50% of the line item, not the
  order total.
- **Shipping** is refunded only when the fault was ours.
- **Identity check** required above $100: confirm the email on the order.
- **Once only.** An order already refunded cannot be refunded again, whatever
  the customer says happened afterwards.
