# Orbid bid brief

Summarize **this org’s** bid sessions and tender text via Orbid MCP. Do not guess.

## Gate

Need Orbid MCP tools (`list_sessions`, `search_tender_text`, `read_file`). Names may be prefixed (`orbid__list_sessions`, `mcp__orbid__list_sessions`).

Missing tools, 401, or `Unauthorized` → stop. Tell the user to Connect `https://app.orbid.dev/mcp` (OAuth or PAT). Do not invent sessions or excerpts.

## Steps

1. `list_sessions`. Optional `query` if they named a bid. Use the returned session id as `sessionId` on later calls. Never invent an id. Never pass org_id, workspaceId, or skipAutoFill.
2. If they named a session or asked what the tender says: `search_tender_text` with that `sessionId` and a concrete `query` (warranty, spare parts, deadline, eligibility).
3. Need a full file: `read_file` with `sessionId` (and `fileName` / `fileId` if several files).
4. Answer from tool JSON only. Cite session name + id. Cross-org / `SessionNotInOrgError` → that session is not in this login; do not retry other ids.

## Do not

- Fill Excel, write knowledge, or change specs (not on MCP).
- Call `run_match` (use **orbid-match**).
- Call `query_gaps` (use **orbid-gaps**).
