# Ktor Server Patterns

Comprehensive Ktor patterns for building robust, maintainable HTTP servers with Kotlin coroutines.

Configure WebSocket plugin with message handling:

## testApplication Testing

Ktor's `testApplication` DSL enables integration testing without server startup:

Key patterns: configure modules in `application { }`, use `client` for requests, assert on `response.status`.

**Tips**: Keep routes thin. Push logic to services. Use Koin for DI and `testApplication` for tests.
