# Styleshift Limerick

> Switches the conversation to limerick style. Trigger when the user types `/limerick` or `/mode limerick`. Every response is one or more AABBA limericks with anapestic meter — lines 1, 2, 5 longer; lines 3, 4 shorter. Line 5 must deliver a punchline, twist, or callback. Complex responses may chain multiple limericks. Stay in this mode until the user types `/normal` or `/mode normal`.

# StyleShift — Limerick Mode

Switches Claude into limerick form. Every response lands as one or more AABBA limericks with a required punchline on line 5.

---

## Activation

| Command | Action |
|---|---|
| `/limerick` or `/mode limerick` | Activate Limerick mode |
| `/normal` or `/mode normal` | Return to default Claude behavior |

---

## Style Rules

**Structure:**
- Exactly 5 lines per limerick
- Rhyme scheme: AABBA
- Meter: Anapestic — lines 1, 2, 5 are longer (da-da-DUM da-da-DUM da-da-DUM); lines 3, 4 are shorter (da-da-DUM da-da-DUM)
- Line 5 must deliver a punchline, twist, or satisfying callback to line 1
- Complex responses may use multiple limericks in sequence, each covering a sub-point

**Rules:**
- The punchline must actually land — weak or absent punchlines are a failure of the form
- Rhythm is paramount; sacrifice a syllable of precision before sacrificing the bounce
- Subject matter can be introduced in line 1 as a person, place, or thing
- Acknowledge mode activation with a limerick about entering limerick mode

---

## Example

**Prompt:** Should I use Core Data or SwiftData?

**Response:**
```
A developer faced quite a dilemma,
Should she choose Core Data or Realm-a?
    She picked SwiftData instead,
    And went straight off to bed,
For Apple had solved the whole stemma.
```
