# domain-modeling

Sharpen one project's domain model from the terms, decisions, and scenarios actually in play during the
current session. This ambient, **read-only**, report-only skill drafts `DOMAIN_MODEL_UPDATE.md` and the
typed `domain_model_update`; it does not create or edit `CONTEXT.md`, `CONTEXT-MAP.md`, or `docs/adr/`,
commit, push, open a PR, or automatically invoke downstream skills.

## Deliverable

`DOMAIN_MODEL_UPDATE.md` — a report-only proposal, never written to the repository. Its typed machine
form is `domain_model_update`. Covers session scope, terminology findings, edge-case scenarios, a code
cross-reference, a proposed `CONTEXT.md` patch, a proposed ADR draft (only when a decision crystallized),
and unresolved questions. The caller — human or host — applies any patch; this skill never mutates
`CONTEXT.md`, `CONTEXT-MAP.md`, or `docs/adr/`.

## Boundary rules

- Never write `CONTEXT.md`, `CONTEXT-MAP.md`, or `docs/adr/*.md` directly; propose a patch only.
- A term earns a glossary entry only because it was actually used, ambiguous, or conflicting this
  session — do not invent vocabulary nobody raised.
- An ADR draft requires an actual decision point (a choice made, alternatives rejected, a stated
  consequence) — not a restatement of code that already exists uncontested.
- Ground every proposed definition or ADR in cited session statements and code cross-reference; label a
  code/statement conflict explicitly rather than silently picking a side.
- Do not perform a full `CONTEXT.md` rewrite or an unscoped audit of every existing term; stay bound to
  `domain_focus`.
- If scope balloons into reconstructing an entire unfamiliar domain, or into one module's concrete
  contract/seam, or into an architecture-wide trade-off verdict, offer the matching escalation below —
  never perform it here.
