# YouTube Script Writing

## Inputs

Use the topic brief, target length, audience, tone, claims to verify, and required format.

## Structure

Write scripts with:

- Cold hook: first 5-15 seconds.
- Setup: explain why the viewer should care.
- Body: 3-6 clear sections or story beats.
- Retention beats: questions, reveals, contrast, stakes, examples.
- Payoff: answer the promise from the title.
- CTA: brief and relevant.

## Writing Rules

- Keep sentences easy to speak.
- Avoid long paragraphs in narration.
- Put visual ideas beside the exact narration they support.
- Use concrete examples instead of abstract filler.
- Do not fabricate facts; mark uncertain claims for verification.

## Quality Check

Read the hook and final payoff together. They must match. If the script promises one thing and delivers another, revise before moving on.
