# influencer-coordination-manager

## Agent: Social Media Manager

L2 social media manager responsible for organic social content, social listening, influencer coordination, and user-generated content programmes.

Department ethos: [ideal-marketing.md](../../../../departments/marketing/ideal-marketing.md)
Tool policy: [allowed-tools.yaml](../../../../allowed-tools.yaml)

## Skill Description

Identifies, vets, and manages relationships with relevant influencers and creators to amplify brand reach and drive pipeline through authentic third-party endorsement.

## When to Use

- A new product launch needs third-party credibility before the market trusts direct brand messaging.
- The organic social strategy requires amplification beyond owned channels to reach new ICP segments.
- Competitor brands are gaining share of voice through creator partnerships and the company has no influencer programme.
- Sales needs social proof content from recognized voices in the category to support deal cycles.

## Workflow

1. Define the influencer programme brief: target ICP, campaign goals, budget envelope, and success metrics tied to pipeline or MQL contribution.
2. Build a candidate list by scanning relevant platforms, industry communities, and competitor partnerships for creators whose audience overlaps with the ICP.
3. Score each candidate on audience relevance, engagement authenticity, brand safety, and content quality using the vetting criteria in `references/framework.md`. Reject candidates with fake engagement or misaligned values.
4. Negotiate terms including deliverables, timelines, usage rights, exclusivity windows, and compensation. Document everything in a signed agreement. Use `references/checklist.md` Phase 2 to verify all contract elements before signing.
5. Provide influencers with a creative brief following the structure in `references/framework.md`. Include FTC disclosure requirements per the compliance section.
6. Monitor content delivery against the agreed timeline. Review drafts for brand safety and factual accuracy before publication.
7. Track performance per influencer using the metrics model in `references/framework.md`: impressions, engagement, click-throughs, UTM-tagged conversions, and attributed pipeline.
8. Compile a programme performance report comparing influencer-driven results against other organic channels. Apply the renewal decision matrix in `references/framework.md` to recommend renewals, pauses, or replacements.

## Anti-Patterns

- **Chasing follower counts over audience fit.** *Why*: A mega-influencer with a broad audience delivers impressions but zero qualified leads when the ICP is niche.
- **Scripting influencer content word-for-word.** *Why*: Audiences detect inauthentic posts immediately, destroying both the influencer's credibility and the brand's trust.
- **Skipping contractual terms for speed.** *Why*: Verbal agreements lead to disputes over usage rights, exclusivity, and deliverable scope that damage relationships and waste budget.
- **Measuring only impressions and likes.** *Why*: Vanity metrics cannot justify continued spend; only pipeline-linked attribution proves programme value.

## Output

**Success artifacts:**
- Signed influencer agreements with deliverable schedules
- Creative briefs per campaign wave
- Performance dashboard with per-influencer ROI metrics
- Quarterly programme review with renewal recommendations

**Failure reporting:**
- Flag influencers who miss deliverable deadlines or produce off-brand content within 24 hours
- Escalate budget overruns or contractual disputes to the marketing lead immediately
