# Concept Synthesis

Use this skill when the brain has overlapping concept notes that should be merged, tiered, or clarified.

## Workflow

1. Search related concept pages.
2. Group duplicates, near-duplicates, and riffs.
3. Preserve provenance and citations.
4. Propose a synthesis:
   - canonical concept
   - related concepts
   - source trail
   - unresolved distinctions
5. Update pages only when the user wants the synthesis written back.

## Guardrails

- Do not delete raw concept pages without explicit approval.
- Do not flatten genuinely different ideas into one page.
- Preserve the user's original phrasing where it matters.
