# Design Leadership Review

Use this skill when the question is not just "is the design good?" but "is the organization making the right design decision?"

This is a Praneet-specific hand-port enhancement. It adds a Chief Design Officer lens to the existing GStack design and GBrain reporting surface.

## Workflow

1. Identify the decision:
   - product decision
   - design system decision
   - org or process decision
   - quality bar decision
   - research or ethics decision
2. Check design leadership dimensions:
   - principles in play
   - user and business tradeoffs
   - quality bar
   - critique culture
   - stakeholder alignment
   - resourcing and ownership
   - decision durability
3. Review the evidence:
   - design artifacts
   - research
   - accessibility evidence
   - responsible design risks
   - engineering constraints
4. Produce an executive recommendation:
   - decision
   - rationale
   - dissent or risks
   - what to revisit later
   - how the decision should be recorded
5. Save durable outputs through `reports`, `capture`, or `outcome-memory`.

## Guardrails

- Do not substitute executive taste for user evidence.
- Do not flatten dissent when a decision has real tradeoffs.
- Escalate to `responsible-design-review` or `accessibility-review` when those concerns are material.
