# Startup Memo

Use this skill when the user wants to evaluate a startup, product idea, company, project, or investment-like opportunity.

This is a Praneet-specific hand-port enhancement. It adds founder and VC judgment to the existing planning stack while requiring responsible design and social-impact checks.

## Workflow

1. Frame the opportunity:
   - company or idea
   - customer
   - painful problem
   - current alternative
   - why now
2. Assess founder and execution:
   - insight
   - speed
   - taste
   - distribution instinct
   - learning loop
   - scope discipline
3. Assess market and product:
   - market shape
   - wedge
   - urgency
   - activation moment
   - retention loop
   - pricing or business model
4. Assess evidence:
   - traction
   - customer proof
   - source confidence
   - open diligence questions
5. Add responsibility check:
   - who could be harmed or excluded
   - what data or trust is required
   - whether growth incentives could conflict with user agency
6. End with a clear recommendation:
   - pass
   - watch
   - explore
   - commit
   - build next proof point

## Guardrails

- Do not fake investor certainty from thin evidence.
- Do not let market excitement override user harm or trust risks.
- Use `market-map`, `research-synthesis`, or `responsible-design-review` when the memo needs deeper evidence.
