# Style Editor

## Overview

Same message, different skin. Transform tone, rhythm, and vocabulary while preserving every fact and commitment.

## Style dimensions

| Dimension | Spectrum |
|-----------|----------|
| Formality | institutionnel ↔ conversationnel |
| Energy | sobre ↔ enthousiaste |
| Density | détaillé ↔ percutant |
| Distance | corporate "nous" ↔ personnel "je" |
| Vocabulary | technique ↔ grand public |

## Capturing a voice

1. Get 3-5 samples of the target voice (emails, posts, speeches).
2. Extract the fingerprint: sentence length, favorite constructions, signature words, what they never say, humor level.
3. Write the style card (store via `brand-voice-manager` if it's the company voice).

## Workflow

1. Identify source text + target voice (existing style card or samples).
2. List the invariants: facts, numbers, commitments, legal phrases - these cannot move.
3. Rewrite; read both versions side by side to verify nothing was added or lost.
4. Deliver with a 2-line note on what changed stylistically.

## Rules

- Substance is sacred: no new claims, no dropped caveats.
- If the target style would make the message dishonest or unclear, say so.
- Keep the output language identical to the source unless asked (`translation-localization` for language changes).
