4-step career transition process: analyze → research → tailor → prepare.

## Steps

### Step 1 — Job Description Analysis
**Skill:** `portfolio-jd`
**Goal:** Decode what the JD is really asking for beneath the surface language
**Output:** Must-have vs nice-to-have breakdown, hidden signals, fit gap analysis
**Input needed:** Paste the JD text

### Step 2 — Company Research
**Skill:** `portfolio-company`
**Goal:** Understand culture, growth stage, pain points, and decision-makers
**Output:** Company profile, culture signals, talking points, red flags
**Input needed:** Company name + any public info (Glassdoor, LinkedIn, news)
**Skip if:** Internal transfer or referral with strong inside knowledge

### Step 3 — Resume & Portfolio Tailoring
**Skills:** `resume-tailorer` + `portfolio-rewrite` (if portfolio needed)
**Goal:** Align your materials to Step 1 fit gaps and Step 2 culture signals
**Output:** Tailored resume, updated portfolio sections, cover letter draft
**Skip if:** Materials already tailored to this specific role

### Step 4 — Interview Preparation
**Skill:** `interview-prep`
**Goal:** Prepare stories, answers, and questions for each interview stage
**Input:** JD analysis + company research + your experience
**Output:** STAR story bank, likely questions + answers, questions to ask
**Skip if:** Screening call only (just need a 5-min pitch)

## State Tracking
