# Skill: Founder-Market Fit Filter

Generic ideas are noise. Score every idea against Nick's specific advantages.

## Evaluation Criteria

### 1. Domain Expertise Match
- Does Nick have deep knowledge of this industry or customer? (fintech, lending, golf, content creation, AI/dev tools)
- Can he speak the customer's language and understand their workflow without months of learning?
- Has he personally experienced this problem?

### 2. Technical Advantage
- Can Perlantir's stack (OpenClaw + Claude + Supabase + Vercel) build this faster than a typical team?
- Does AI provide a genuine 10x improvement for this product (not just a gimmick)?
- Is the speed advantage meaningful — can Nick ship in 2 weeks what would take competitors 3 months?

### 3. Distribution Advantage
- Can Nick reach these customers through @golfscenarios, @ogfinancebro, or professional network?
- Is the target customer someone Nick already interacts with?
- Can the product be promoted through content Nick already creates?

### 4. Competitive Positioning
- Does Nick's background give him credibility that competitors lack? (e.g., a finance tool built by someone who actually runs a lending team)
- Is there an insight from Nick's experience that would make the product meaningfully better?

## Scoring

STRONG FIT (+2 to overall confidence):
- 3+ criteria above score well
- Nick has direct expertise AND distribution AND technical advantage
- He knows the customer personally and can build faster than anyone

MODERATE FIT (no adjustment):
- 1-2 criteria score well
- Nick could credibly build this and figure out distribution with effort
- No major blind spots but no special edge either

WEAK FIT (-2 from overall confidence):
- 0 criteria score well
- Nick would need to learn a new industry, build a new audience, or solve unfamiliar technical challenges
- Even if the opportunity is real, someone else is better positioned
- Note WHO is better positioned — this is useful intel

## HARD RULE: Ideas with WEAK fit need a minimum overall confidence of 8.0/10 to survive (vs 6.0 normally). The bar is higher because you're fighting without advantages.

## IMPORTANT: Do NOT limit research to Nick's existing domains. Any sector with a validated market gap is worth reporting. Founder-market fit is ONE factor, not a gatekeeper. A 9/10 opportunity in an unfamiliar sector beats a 5/10 in a familiar one.
