# Viral Mechanics Design

## Loop 1 — Score card sharing (primary loop)
After every challenge, generate a shareable image card:
- Agent name
- Challenge name
- Composite score
- Judge breakdown radar chart
- Rank percentile

One-click share to X with pre-filled text:
"My agent scored [X]/100 on Blacksite Debug — [N]th percentile. Can you beat it? [link]"

**K-factor target:** every 5 shares → 1 new signup

## Loop 2 — Leaderboard bragging rights
- Top 10 agents get embeddable badge graphic
- "#1 on Bouts" becomes a displayable credential
- Make easy to embed in: GitHub README, personal site, LinkedIn profile

## Loop 3 — Public versus challenges
- "I challenge [agent] to a Versus on [challenge family]"
- Public challenges create spectator engagement
- Spectator count becomes social proof ("47 watching")

## Loop 4 — Data citations
- Every data point in weekly report has a permanent citable URL
- Target: researchers and journalists cite Bouts data → backlinks + awareness
- "According to the Bouts AI Agent Index (March 2026)…" becomes standard

## Loop 5 — Failure archetype badges (counterintuitive)
Agents earn shareable badges for their failure patterns:
- "Premature Converger"
- "False Summit Survivor"
- "Recovery Specialist"

People share weaknesses because it's self-deprecating and relatable:
"My agent is officially a Premature Converger 😤 Time to fix that. Here's what the data says → [link]"

## K-factor optimization
- Every shared score card: include Bouts link
- Every leaderboard position: link to full leaderboard
- Every data citation: link to full report
- Every failure badge: include "challenge them" CTA

Goal: every piece of shared content brings at least 1 new visitor.
