# Milky Way Idle

> Answer questions about the idle/incremental game Milky Way Idle (milkywayidle.com, also on Steam). Use this skill WHENEVER the user asks about Milky Way Idle game mechanics, skills, items, monsters, combat, or strategy — including milking, foraging, woodcutting, cheesesmithing, crafting, tailoring, cooking, brewing, alchemy, enhancing, combat, the combat stats (stamina, intelligence, attack, melee, defense, magic, ranged), monsters and drop tables, zones, bosses, combat tiers, abilities, equipment stats, buffs, teas, coffees, houses/house rooms, the dairy barn/forge/observatory etc., loadouts, experience formulas, enhancement success rates, or what to train next. Trigger this even when the user just names a game term (e.g. "what drops Holy cheese", "how does enhancing protection work", "best tea for combat") without saying "Milky Way Idle" explicitly, as long as context points to this game. Do NOT use for unrelated games or real-world dairy/astronomy questions.

# Milky Way Idle

Reference knowledge for the idle game **Milky Way Idle**. The content here is
extracted from the official wiki (milkywayidle.wiki.gg). Use it to answer player
questions accurately across all skill levels — from new players to min-maxers.

## How to use this skill

1. Identify which area the question touches (gathering, production, combat,
   monsters, houses, etc.).
2. Read the matching reference file below **before answering** — do not rely on
memory for numbers (drop rates, XP values, upgrade costs, success-rate
tables, stat formulas). These are the parts most likely to be misremembered.
3. Quote specific figures from the reference. If a value isn't in the references,
   say so rather than guessing.

## Important caveats

- This data is a **snapshot** of the wiki and the game is actively updated.
Balance numbers (drop rates, costs, formulas, item stats) can change. For
anything where currentness is critical, note that the live wiki or in-game
values are authoritative, and offer to check the wiki if the user has access.
- Coins/costs and drop percentages especially drift over patches.

## Reference files

Read the one(s) relevant to the question:

- **`references/gathering.md`** — Milking, Foraging, Woodcutting. Cows/trees/foragables
by level, gathering teas, gathering gear, and the Dairy Barn / Garden / Log Shed
House rooms. Use for "what do I gather", brushes, gloves, shears, gather-quantity questions.

- **`references/production.md`** — The six artisan skills: Cheesesmithing, Crafting,
Tailoring, Cooking, Brewing, Alchemy. Recipes, materials, tool gear (hammers,
chisels, needles, spatulas, pots, alchemy gear), production teas, and House rooms
(Forge, Workshop, Sewing Parlor, Kitchen, Brewery, Laboratory). Use for crafting
recipes, what's needed to make an item, alchemy/transmute mechanics, brewing drinks.

- **`references/combat.md`** — Combat overview plus all combat stats and styles:
Stamina, Intelligence, Attack, Melee, Defense, Magic, Ranged, plus **HP (Hit
Points)** — max-HP formula, HP-bonus equipment (pouches etc.), and the Dining
Room. Combat-level formula, damage/accuracy/attack-speed formulas, combat styles (Stab/Slash/Smash/
  Ranged/Magic), the experience-distribution model (primary 30% / focus 70%),
combat House rooms (Dojo, Gym, Armory, Archery Range, Mystical Study, etc.),
and combat coffees/teas. Use for "what should I train", style comparisons,
how XP is split, combat-level math.

- **`references/monsters.md`** — Every Zone's monster + drop tables with per-tier
(T0–T5) drop rates, bosses, and the combat-tier scaling rules. Use for "what
drops X", "where do I find Y", "what's in Z zone", boss questions, tier rewards.

- **`references/abilities.md`** — Combat abilities, their effects, costs, and how
ability books / casting work. Use for ability-specific questions and rotations.

- **`references/enhancing.md`** — The Enhancing skill: base success-rate table by
enhancement level, success-rate formula vs. item level, protection mechanics
(Mirror of Protection, Philosopher's Mirror, base-item protection), Blessed Tea
(+2 levels), enhancers, and the Observatory. Use for any "how do I enhance / odds
of +N / how does protection work" question.

- **`references/houses.md`** — All 17 House rooms in one place: per-level buffs and
full 8-level upgrade-cost tables. Use for House-planning and upgrade-cost questions.
(Individual skill files above also describe their own room.)

- **`references/stats.md`** — Equipment stats and buffs glossary: what every stat
does (Damage, Accuracy, Amplify, Armor Penetration, Efficiency, Wisdom, Rare Find,
Essence Find, etc.) and how buffs from food/drinks/coffee work. Use to define
terms or explain what a stat affects.

## Quick orientation (game basics)

Milky Way Idle has many **Skills** to level and **Items** to collect. Skills split
into gathering (Milking, Foraging, Woodcutting), production/artisan (Cheesesmithing,
Crafting, Tailoring, Cooking, Brewing, Alchemy), Enhancing, and Combat (which
contains the sub-skills Stamina, Intelligence, Attack, Defense and the damage
styles Melee, Ranged, Magic). Combat yields loot used for armor, enhancing, and
alchemy. Houses provide per-skill and global buffs. Teas (skilling) and
coffees (combat) are temporary consumable buffs. There's a player Marketplace,
Tasks, Guilds, and Loadouts. The advice the wiki gives newcomers: find what you
enjoy and have fun.
