# Document statistics

Report length statistics for a text document.

## Steps

1. Run the counter on the file the user named:

```
python3 scripts/util.py path/to/document.md
```

2. Report the word count, character count, and estimated reading time.

## Notes

Reading time assumes 200 words per minute, which suits prose.
Technical documents read more slowly, so treat the estimate as a lower bound.
