# Exam preparation and retrieval

Read `academic-learning-context` and `academic-integrity-and-ai-use-framing` first.

## Principles
- **Practice tests beat re-reading** — mimic format, time limit, no notes first pass.
- **Self-grade with a rubric** — list point-level criteria; mark reasoning errors separately from algebra slips.
- **Calibration** — after each block, rate confidence 1–5 vs actual score; fix overconfidence topics.

## What you may generate
- **Original** practice items in the style of the course, clearly labeled as unofficial.
- **Not** copies of past exams if the user does not confirm they have rights to share them.

## Output
- A **3-round study plan** (diagnostic → focused → full-length).
- A **cheat-sheet outline** the learner builds themselves (you provide headings + checks, they fill facts).
