# Trades

> Learn, explain, and apply Indian stock-market trading terminology for NSE-only equity, F&O, and intraday analysis. Use when the user asks about NSE stocks, F&O eligibility, intraday trading language, chart/price-action terms, derivatives terms, risk management concepts, trade journaling vocabulary, or building screening/playbook notes for Indian market trading. Do not use for non-Indian markets unless the user explicitly asks for comparison.

# Trades

Support Indian stock-market learning and analysis with NSE as the default market. Focus on terminology, market structure, F&O/intraday concepts, and disciplined trade-planning language.

## Guardrails

- Treat all outputs as education and decision support, not personalized financial advice.
- Do not place trades, guarantee outcomes, or present a stock as a sure recommendation.
- Verify live facts before using them: NSE F&O stock list, lot sizes, circuit limits, expiry calendars, margin rules, corporate actions, results dates, and current prices can change.
- Prefer NSE terminology and Indian market conventions: IST, rupees, NSE equity symbols, NIFTY/BANKNIFTY/FINNIFTY context, SEBI/RBI references when relevant.
- Avoid BSE, US, crypto, or commodity-market framing unless the user explicitly asks.
- State uncertainty plainly when data is stale, unavailable, or inferred.

## Workflow

1. Identify the user's intent:
   - learn terminology;
   - interpret a chart or setup;
   - understand F&O mechanics;
   - prepare an intraday watchlist;
   - create a trading journal or checklist;
   - compare strategies or risk terms.
2. For terminology questions, read [terminology.md](references/terminology.md) and explain in plain Indian-market language.
3. For F&O or intraday screening, first confirm or fetch current NSE-eligible universe, current price/volume/OI data, and relevant event risks.
4. Separate:
   - market structure;
   - setup thesis;
   - entry trigger;
   - invalidation or stop-loss;
   - target or exit logic;
   - position sizing and risk;
   - evidence still missing.
5. Use precise labels:
   - `educational example`;
   - `watchlist candidate`;
   - `needs live verification`;
   - `high-risk event`;
   - `not a trade recommendation`.

## Response Style

- Explain jargon in simple terms first, then add the trading implication.
- Prefer compact tables for glossaries, watchlists, and setup comparisons.
- Use examples with Indian symbols only when examples are needed.
- When discussing risk, include the downside scenario before upside targets.
- For any live-market answer, include the exact date/time and source used for verification.
