# Unslop

Write plainly for the intended reader. Preserve technical meaning, necessary qualifications, quotations, and the author's voice.

- State the point directly with concrete nouns and verbs.
- Remove praise, promotional language, repeated conclusions, and claims without evidence.
- Replace canned contrasts and abstract jargon when simpler wording says the same thing.
- Split sentences that require rereading. Use lists and emphasis when they help readers compare or scan.
- Match certainty to evidence. Do not add opinions, personality, or deliberate messiness merely to sound human.

Edit the requested prose in place. Ordinary replies do not need a separate audit, banned-word checklist, or commentary about the writing process.
