Restate your last message. Stop using jargon and speak coherently. State it more simply and concisely, like one human talking to another.

- **Target:** your own previous message, unless the user pointed at something else.
- **Cut** the jargon, acronyms, and hedging. If a term has a plain-English equivalent, use the plain one. Keep names of real things — files, commands, functions — as they are.
- **Keep the substance.** Simpler wording, same facts. Don't drop the caveat that changes the answer.
- **No meta:** don't announce that you're rephrasing or apologise for the first version. Just say it again, plainly.
