# Vishing Pretext

Build a believable phone pretext using current public context, plausible caller identity, and a tight objective.

Read `../../references/persuasion-principles.md` when choosing the primary persuasion principle.

## Workflow

1. Identify the anchor event, policy, outage, code-review, meeting, or workflow change.
2. Research official terminology, department names, office names, and support processes.
3. Choose the primary persuasion principle:
   - Authority
   - Reciprocity
   - Greed
   - Commitment and consistency
   - Social proof
   - Liking
   - Scarcity
   - Curiosity
   - Fear and anxiety
   - Trust
   - Shame or embarrassment
4. Match the caller persona to the objective.
5. Remove claims that are easy for the target to verify as false.
6. Keep the script short, conversational, and role-appropriate.
