# Route to a skill

1. Identify the user's immediate outcome, the context already available, and
whether they want advice, investigation, planning, implementation, or
   review.
2. Recommend the smallest skill that materially helps. Use a sequence only
when each handoff adds value; do not force the full idea-to-ship flow.
3. Explain the recommendation and any important tradeoff in a few sentences.
If two choices are genuinely close, present both and recommend one.
4. Mention setup only when the chosen workflow depends on missing tracker or
   domain configuration.

Read [references/skill-map.md](references/skill-map.md) when the choice is not
obvious or the user asks to see the available routes.
