## Archival Criteria

Archive when:
- Session > 7 days old
- No longer actively referenced
- Already summarized elsewhere
- Taking significant space

## Must Always Preserve

## Compression Levels

| Age | Action |

| Immediate | Remove redundancy, consolidate |
| Weekly | Summarize to decisions only |
| Monthly | High-level summary, milestones |
| Quarterly | Executive summary, lessons learned |

## Retention Schedule

## Archive Process

1. Extract content from CLAUDE.md
2. Categorize by type and date
3. Compress according to age
4. Create archive files
5. Update index with searchable metadata
6. Verify integrity
7. Clean source files
